Available for kids or adults, water skis are great fun and a wonderful exercise. Getting started can be a little difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it’s just like riding a bike. Start in the water with your knees tucked up close to your chest, and as the boat accelerates, extend your legs until you’re upright. Try and keep your feet and skis about shoulder width apart, leaning to one side or the other to move around the wake.
Wakeboarding is a bit more extreme than water skiing as it requires a little more speed and skill to master. Similar to skis, start by facing the boat with the board parallel to your shoulders. Once the boat accelerates and the board has some resistance against the water, turn whichever foot will be your lead foot towards the boat until the board is pointed towards the boat. Cut through the water by leaning forward or backward. Brave souls can even navigate outside of the wake, pick up speed, and shoot back in over the wake and catch some air!
Inflatable tubes are fun for the whole family. Ranging from single- to three-passenger, tubes are great for nice easy rides for smaller children or adrenaline-pumping speed runs for older kids and adults. All you need to do is sit back and hold on.
